The Agassiz United Football Club (AUFC)

was formed to provide soccer training activities and programs for the Agassiz Soccer Association.  The AUFC runs weekly training sessions as well as camps and clinics.  The AUFC provides age and skill appropriate activities and programs for players from 5 to 18 years of age through a number of programs, as follows:

The Super Starters Program is designed to "introduce" kids to soccer (ages 5 to 10) in a structured manner.  It focuses on skill development and has a game component to it.  Although it is supposed to be "fun" it does strive to develop proper techniques... beyond what is taught at the community club level.

The AUFC Academy program is intended for players, primarily 11 and older, that have some soccer skills and want to maintain them or improve them.  It builds upon what they have learned, making minor corrections if required in a fun environment.  However, we do not "push" them too seriously as for them, soccer is still "something to do for fun".

The Elite Training Program is designed for those that want to take their soccer to a higher level, that want to be more serious about it... it is designed to develop "premier" players.  Therefore it is very structured toward skill improvement, development and overall athletic performance... it is more serious and requires commitment and focus, while still being fun (otherwise what's the point?).   Participation in the Elite Training Program is by invitation only. Tryouts are required, unless otherwise indicated.  There is no fee for tryouts. Typically for players 8 years of age and older.

For more information about any of these programs please contact us by email.

What the ASA is all about...

The Agassiz Soccer Association (ASA) was formed in the Spring of 2007 to develop and promote youth soccer in Manitoba, in a non-threatening and fun environment. We are a non-profit, professional association directed and managed by volunteers with the best interests of the players at the forefront.

ASA members enjoy the best training opportunities, play in a truly competitive environment that has the highest levels of sportsmanship at its core. Our gauge to the success of the ASA is the quality of the total soccer experience, measured through parent feedback, player development, tournament and league participation and last but not least... the smiles on the faces of our members!

Play soccer the way its meant to be played - with passion, skill and unparalleled sportsmanship.

  • Open boundaries - pick your team and its officials
  • Certified coaches and game officials
  • Complete insurance coverage
  • Training Opportunities with AUFC Academy
  • League play with age combined divisions
  • A reasonable cost
  • A positive fun and safe environment for the players, parents and coaches
... join the ASA... we are the alternative.
