2009 OUTDOOR LEAGUE
  • League runs from late April/early May 2009 to July then September;
  • Age appropriate game formats;
  • Round robin play and playoffs;
  • Minimum roster sizes to maximize game time.










  • Games:  Saturdays 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM;
  • Locations: University of Manitoba and Assiniboine Park North and South pitches;
  • Age combined categories;
  • Reasonable per player costs:
  • U9s - $80, U11s - $125; U13 and older $175;

The Agassiz Soccer Association (ASA) was formed in the Spring of 2007 to develop and promote youth soccer in Manitoba, in a non-threatening and fun environment. We are a non-profit, professional association directed and managed by volunteers with the best interests of the players at the forefront.

ASA members enjoy the best training opportunities, play in a truly competitive environment that has the highest levels of sportsmanship at its core. Our gauge to the success of the ASA is the quality of the total soccer experience, measured through parent feedback, player development, tournament and league participation and last but not least... the smiles on the faces of our members!

Agassiz United Football Club

 

The ASA is proud to announce the formation of the Agassiz United Football Club (AUFC)

The AUFC provides high-level training programs and access to tournaments at the premier level. It will be of most interest to those players who want to train at a higher level, want to play at a higher level and are looking to focus on soccer as their primary sporting activity. The AUFC will provide these opportunities through “travel teams”. The travel teams will participate in a number of tournaments over the indoor and outdoor seasons.

AUFC SUPER STARTERS



AUFC SUPER STARTERS PROGRAM

Now taking registrations for our
Spring Program!

Super Starters is a comprehensive soccer program designed specifically for the youngest of our players (ages 6 to 10). We provide skills training and games all in one program. This exciting program starts our youngest players with the best foundation for having lots of fun in sports and activity !

The Spring 2009 Program consists of ten sessions of seventy five (75) minute each, which consist of a training component and a game.  The Super Starters Program is delivered by fully certified coaches. 

UPDATE: The Spring 2009 Program will begin Wednesday May 6th and run until June 24th.  Two other dates will be identified to complete the ten (10) sessions of the program.  Location is Assiniboine Park - detailed location will be sent to registrants. 

Participants receive an AUFC Super Starters shirt.  Each ten-session program costs $99.00.

 You must register on-line.  Select Super Starters Program from the drop down menu.

U8:    2001, 2002, 2003 and before July 1, 2004
U10:   1999 and 2000

HOW TO REGISTER WITH THE ASA

STEP 1: Register online... click on the "Click here to Register Online" tab located above at the top right hand corner of the home page . If you have successfully registered, the registration page will  will go blank after you submit it.

STEP 2: An ASA Official will contact you regarding the team your child will play on.  You will  be instructed on when and where to submit a signed copy of the downloadable player registration form  (found under documents) and pay your fees.

European Youth player joins in on Super Starters Session as Guest Coach!

The Super Starters were joined in  December by guest coach Andrew Kliment. Andrew is currently a starter with the U-18 FC Spartak Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic First Division soccer league.
