The Agassiz Soccer Association (ASA) was formed in the Spring of 2007 to develop and promote premier level youth soccer in Manitoba, in a non-threatening and fun environment. We are a non-profit, professional association directed and managed by volunteers with the best interests of the players at the forefront.

The only people who should profit from youth soccer associations are the players. If you feel the same way then find out more about joining the ASA.

2008 Outdoor Season

The ASA 2008 Outdoor season kicked off on May 3rd at the U of M !

Join us this outdoor season to play soccer the way its meant to be played - with passion, skill and unparalleled sportsmanship.

  • Complete insurance coverage
  • Access to tournaments in Canada and the U.S.
  • League play with age combined divisions
  • A reasonable cost: $175.00 for the 2008 outdoor season per player
  • A positive fun and safe environment for the players, parents and coaches
During 2007/08, ASA teams have competed in tournaments within Canada and the USA, returning home with Gold and Silver medals. In addition, each team played a minimum of 12 outdoor league games and 20 indoor games - not to mention numerous friendlies.

2007/08 Indoor 3v3 Championship Results

The ASA is delighted to announce the championship results for the 2007/08 Indoor 3v3 League.

The 3v3 Champions for 2007/08 are
  • Pool A - Heat
  • Pool B - Mi2-S1
Congratulations to Heat and Mi2-S1 and congratulations to all the teams that participated ! The sportsmanship, skill and energy displayed by all was second to none.

The revised schedule for the Indoor 3v3 Windup on March 29, 2008 at Building 21 is as follows:

Focus 9 Ballritmics Summer 2008 Camp

Professional Soccer Training from Qualified, Professional and Experienced European Coaches

Come and experience a new and unique soccer approach "Ballritmics" a holistic approach to professional soccer training. This new method has been adopted by professional European clubs such as PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, Amsterdam, Feynoord Rotterdam, RSC Anderlecht, Standard De Leige, KV.Mechelen, Redbull Salzburg to name a few.

Join Patrick Di Stephani and Michael Bruyninckx on this truly professional camp experience. Michael Bruyninckx is a UEFA A License Coach and Coach at the top-class Leuven Football School, Royal Belgium Football Federation.

Camps will be held at the Canadian Mennonite University from July 7th -10th, 2008.

8-11 yrs: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm
12 - 16 yrs: 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm
